Weather Protection
AirDoor creates an invisible, active air barrier that protects open entrances from wind, rain and unwanted outside air, reducing draughts, improving comfort and efficiency, and freeing up valuable space near the doorway.
AirDoor represents a genuine breakthrough at the building entrance. It’s a sensor‑controlled airflow system that responds in real time to changing external conditions, using patent‑protected technology and advanced aerodynamic design to redefine what’s possible.
AirDoor creates an invisible, active air barrier that protects open entrances from wind, rain and unwanted outside air, reducing draughts, improving comfort and efficiency, and freeing up valuable space near the doorway.
AirDoor reduces energy loss at the entrance by preventing treated indoor air from escaping, while limiting air infiltration to help existing heating and cooling systems operate more efficiently, all while using less energy than traditional overdoor heaters.
AirDoor delivers significantly lower running costs than traditional overdoor heaters by operating with no heating or cooling element, while also reducing the operating cost of existing building systems by allowing them to work more efficiently.
AirDoor maintains comfortable internal conditions for customers, staff and visitors by stabilising temperatures at the entrance and eliminating draughts, while keeping high‑traffic doorways open, welcoming and aligned with conditions elsewhere in the building.
AirDoor helps protect and improve indoor air quality by limiting the entry of external pollutants, dust and insects through busy entrances, maintaining cleaner internal environments and supporting healthier conditions for customers, staff and visitors.
AirDoor supports sustainability and net‑zero ambitions by consuming less energy than traditional overdoor heaters and reducing energy loss, heating demand and carbon emissions at the entrance, without compromising comfort, access or performance.

Our flagship, high-performance entrance solution
AirDoor integrates seamlessly around most commercial openings, creating an invisible, active air barrier that keeps entrances open and welcoming while reducing infiltration and energy loss.
Our solution for entrances with overhead space constraints
AirDoor Lite creates the same active air barrier as AirDoor, but in a pillar design, ideal for buildings where architectural constraints limit the use of an overhead crossbeam.
Our solution for temperature-controlled spaces
AirDoor Curve is specifically designed for adjoining indoor spaces that need different temperatures, where its unique twisted pillars keep hot and cold zones separate.

Every AirDoor is designed and manufactured in our UK factory, tailored specifically to the size, colour and configuration requirements of each entrance.
Our in‑house team can install and commission AirDoor in a single session, in new or existing buildings, with work scheduled in or around normal operating hours to minimise disruption.
System performance can be monitored post‑installation via Siemens cloud services or a local BMS connection. Simple ongoing maintenance required with reduced requirement for working at height.

AirDoor is suitable for a wide range of buildings, including retail, supermarkets, industrial facilities and commercial entrances. It performs effectively in high-traffic environments with frequently open doors, delivering consistent protection, improved comfort and energy efficiency across different applications. AirDoor can be installed during the fit-out phase of a newbuild or retrofitted into existing buildings.
Traditional over door heaters rely on a constant stream of heated air to offset cold draughts, often resulting in high energy use, noise and inconsistent performance. AirDoor works differently, using an active air barrier with sensors, a smart control strategy and variable-speed fans to block air infiltration before it enters the building. This delivers lower running costs, reduced energy consumption and quieter, more efficient operation.
AirDoor reduces heat loss, improves thermal comfort and limits air infiltration at open entrances. It creates stable indoor conditions, lowers energy consumption and enhances occupant experience, all while maintaining open and accessible doorways.
AirDoor costs from £310 a year to run. AirDoor has low running costs because it only uses energy to power efficient fans, not heating elements. Its intelligent controls adjust performance based on conditions, minimising energy use and delivering significantly lower operating costs compared to traditional systems.
The payback period for AirDoor is generally under 3.5 years. Reduced energy consumption and improved efficiency typically result in a fast and measurable payback. To get your personalised savings calculation, please see our savings calculator
